Clandestine House is a cute little bong and pipe boutique nestled on the edge of Riverdale in Toronto. We specialize in fair trade local glass, organic and all natural rolling papers, incense and herbs, vapourizers, books and other neat paraphernalia.
We only carry rice and hemp rolling papers, and try to stock all the natural selections available including Raw, Pure Hemp, Bambu, Smoking and OCB. We don’t carry blunts (yuck!) but we have a nice variety of flavoured papers, including ones from Dragonfly, which are nice and thin and some don’t have ink printed on them.
Our glass is all hand picked and blown by artists that we know. The pipe and bubbler industry is rammed with cheap crappy imports that break easily and are made with questionable glass under questionable circumstances. Not to mention the shipping costs and environmental impact having stuff imported from halfway around the world. At my shop, artists bring their wares the old skool way and I hand pick the nicest ones. Beautiful pieces from LaPlaya, ME Glass, Nish, Wong Bong and Lethal Glass.
I like t-shirts made by cool artists with local themes. I have great screens by local activists, exemptees. musicians and comedians. Awesome one-of-a-kind hemp, cotton and soy t-shirts and long-sleeves. I also have a bunch of handmade bags, wallets and pipe protectors.
I hate crappy incense with stinky sticks! We carry local hand rolled incense like Flore Incense, made from all natural ingredients and bamboo sticks, they’ve been making their own since 1982, right here in Toronto! Great scents like cedar, sweetgrass, vanilla and cinnamon to take you to heaven.
Our seeds are all from local breeders or imported from trusted sources. We have a wide range of indicas and sativas, indoor and outdoor selections, some feminized selections and strains specific to patio growing. After several years of selling seeds to the neighbourhood, and watching the ratio of patio growers to indoor growers, I have this vision in my head that Riverdale has Canada’s largest grow-op, it’s just that the plants are spread out 2 at a time across everyone’s patios!
We carry enthoegens and other healing herbs. Blue Lotus, Kratom, Salvia , Mimosa, Hawiian Baby Woodrose, Syrian Rue Seeds and Kava Kava are among nature’s most potent healing plant, and we stock as many of these herbs as we can. I only carry herbs I have experience with, or first hand knowledge of, and am open to any questions you may have so you can achieve the journey you want.
We also have a wide range of other herbs and teas, including my infamous Smoking Blend, designed to put in your joints instead of tobacco. Our line of smoking herbs will help clean out any lung, throat or systemic problem you may have from smoking. We also have a line of teas and salves made from our herbs to help with ailments like arthritis, fibromyalgia, IBS, menstrual problems, anxiety, sleep disorder and pain.
I try to think hard about the impact of the products I sell. Our sub-culture uses a lot of things that harm us, damage our lungs, fuel the sweatshop industry and cause environmental damage. By choosing local I automatically eliminate a lot of that. I can be fair on my prices and sometimes there’s even a little room to haggle!
