Hops is a cousin to the hemp plant! Traditionally it has been used mostly in brewing beer, however this flower is actually a very healthy tea and can also be smoked! Rich in bitter acids and essential oils, it is mildly sedative with calming effects that may help with anxiety, nervous tension, relaxation, sleep and digestion. Studies suggest it may also help in quitting tobacco.
Hops Tea Recipe:
Steep 1–2 teaspoons of dried hops flowers in 1 cup of hot water for 5–10 minutes. Strain and drink before bed to encourage deep relaxation.
Consult a healthcare provider before use, especially if pregnant or on medication.
